Nature Inspired

WEFTER technology is inspired by nature's best 3D overhang printers: swallows. Their mud nests are built with impressive overhangs on cliffs and buildings using an incremental approach where every deposited glob is supported by the previous.

Much like the fluid murmuration of a flock in flight, our technology relies on the cohesion of undulating paths to create something greater than their sum.

Craftsman Inspired

The name WEFTER is inspired by the ancient art of weaving. In weaving, the weft is the horizontal thread that runs left-to-right across the vertical warp threads, building up complex patterns and strength with each pass. Like weaving, WEFTER software builds 3D structures with continuous horizontal strands that layer upon each other, creating strong, connected forms without external supports.
